Almost Famous

We went to the Jack Johnson concert at Red Rocks last night with a group of friends. Cherilyn and Christine went to the bathroom about three songs into Jack's set. When they returned, they told us this story about some guy who tried to hit on them, saying he was the opening act. He asked if they had enjoyed his set, to which the girls replied that we arrived late and missed the openers. He told them that his name was Matt Costa, and he would also play a song with Jack during the encore. The girls were convinced that he was just fooling around with him, and took off. Well, what do you know, the same guy comes out for the encore and says, "Hi Girls". I guess they didn't quite notice that he had a full access pass around his neck or that his name was on the ticket. I just think it was hilarious that this guy tried to use the little fame he has garnered opening for Jack to mack on girls. And then the girls totally blow him off, not believing a word he said.
