Best Names in Sports

These are some of my personal favorites.

Monte Cristo - ex-QB Nebraska Cornhuskers
Johnny Dickshot - ex-outfielder Pittsburgh Pirates and others
World B. Free - ex-guard Philadelphia 76ers and others
Dick Butkus - ex-linebacker Chicago Bears
Coco Crisp - outfielder Cleveland Indians
Denny Neagle - ex-pitcher Rockies and others

(OK, I only added Neagle, because he just received 40 hrs of community service for his prostitute plea)

I was going to put him on the list, but then I forgot. That is a greeat name, especially due to Tom Cruise's character in Days of Thunder - Cole Trickle.

Alright, who is the ass who dared to blaspheme the name of John Elway on this blog? John Elway is one of the top three QBs in the history of the NFL. He survived the play calling of Dan Reeves and led the Broncos to 3 Superbowl losses before the reunion with Shanahan that led to two Super Bowl victories. If he played for an east coast or major market franchise, he would have been annointed as the baddest mofo QB ever to grace the football field, mothers and fathers would have named their first born son Elway, and the number 7 would be honored with reverance to John boy.
